Jane Ahern

Jane Ahern is an Associate Attorney and Herrera Arellano's Director of State and Local Government Affairs. As a former Deputy General Counsel and Policy Advisor at the Arizona House of Representatives, Jane has been a presence at the state legislature for nearly 8 years. 

Since joining Herrera Arellano, she has lobbied for a variety of businesses, nonprofits, and local governmental associations, helping clients to navigate complex legal and political barriers, and working with legislators, staff, and stakeholders to achieve concrete results. She was recently nominated for Best Lobbyist Under 40 by the Arizona Capitol Times.  

She also actively practices in the areas of election law and campaign finance, and assists clients in navigating state and federal lobbyist registration and reporting laws. She has litigated candidate and initiative challenges, and represents public officials, candidates, and 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations. 

When Jane is not watching floor votes, she is fostering dogs for the Arizona Humane Society.
