Daniel Arellano
Biography
Daniel Arellano is an experienced litigator and trusted advisor, particularly in appeals and disputes involving government.
Daniel’s diverse practice involves all aspects of complex litigation and government enforcement defense. He has represented clients in sensitive investigations, developed and tried cases as lead trial counsel, briefed dozens of appeals, and argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the Arizona Supreme Court, and the Arizona Court of Appeals. He also appears regularly before administrative tribunals in agency proceedings and regulatory enforcement actions.
Daniel’s public law practice includes elections, campaign finance, administrative and constitutional law, licensing, government contracting, land use, tax, public records, open meetings, and government ethics. He also frequently litigates and advises on issues of libel law and the First Amendment, as well as commercial matters.
Daniel previously practiced at two prominent law firms in Phoenix. He served as a law clerk to the Hon. Mary H. Murguia of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Hon. Scott Bales of the Arizona Supreme Court.
